1. Cala del Moraig (Benitatxell)
Cala del Moraig needs no introduction! This beauty of turquoise waters and golden sand is located in the municipality of Benitatxell, in the north of the province of Alicante. It is a cove surrounded by imposing cliffs over 100 metres high. On the negative side, it should be mentioned that it is a beach with regulated parking and for which you will have to pay €12 per day to park your vehicle.

2. Cala Granadella (Jávea)
Cala Granadella is one of the most beautiful beaches not only in the entire Valencian Community, but in all of Spain. Its crystal-clear waters are ideal for water sports such as kayaking, paddle surfing or snorkelling. Its natural surroundings, in the middle of a forest park and surrounded by cliffs, make this small bay an idyllic spot that is in high demand in summer, so we recommend using the tourist train/bus which, for a modest price, will take you to the shore of the beach, saving you expensive parking and a probable traffic jam.

3. Cala del Portitxol / La Barraca
Like the neighbouring Granadella, Cala del Portitxol or Cala Barraca needs no introduction. This beautiful bay protected from the waves by the cliffs of Cap Negre and the Illa del Portitxol itself is one of the most sought-after coves in the entire Valencian Community, so our advice is to walk following this route described in LinkAlicante. The itinerary by car from Valencia is just 1 hour and a half.
4. Cala Blanca (Jávea)
Caleta de Dins, Cala Blanca de JáveaThe town of Jávea / Xàbia, in the north of the province of Alicante, is famous for the beauty of its coastline: a rugged, cliff-lined coast that is home to some of the most beautiful coves in the entire region of Valencia. One of the favourites of all those who visit Jávea is Cala Blanca, which is actually not one cove but two: those known as Caleta I and Caleta II. They are tiny coves of rocks and boulders, ideal for snorkelling or water sports. Would you like to discover this natural gem?
5. Les Rotes / Cova Tallada (Jávea – Dénia)
Attention! Cova Tallada is not exactly a cove, although it is certainly one of the most spectacular places in the Valencian Community to enjoy the sea in summer. As long as you are an adventurous person and used to taking certain risks, that is. Because to reach this spectacular sea cave you will have to overcome a route with some difficulty, go down a staircase carved into the rock and help yourself with your hands to reach the entrance of the cave. The reward, however, is more than worth it.

7. Cala del Faro (Cullera)
The soft, sandy coastline of the province of Valencia gives rise to few coves. One of them is the Faro de Cullera beach, a beautiful cove of sand and rocks that, of course, is located in a fairly urbanized environment.
